Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Enrico (DVM, MRCVS, GPCertSAS)

Enrico graduated from Camerino University in 2009. In 2015 he sat his ESVPS’ (European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies) examination and obtained his General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. In the same year he became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and joined Briar House to lead our clever surgical team.

Enrico is in the final year of his Endo – PgC and GPCert Small Animal Endoscopy and Endo Surgery Certificate. Our very own Super Vet!

Enrico has built a fantastic portfolio of complex surgical procedures since qualifying, including TTA procedures, complex fracture repairs, BOAS surgeries, cruciate repairs and patella luxation – there are very few cases that Enrico will not take on.

Although a terrific surgeon, Enrico is also proud to be a high level general medicine vet with many years experience in diagnosing and curing medical conditions that do not require surgery.

In his spare time he is a highly experienced falconer. He loves riding, spending time with his son Francesco, playing basketball, skiing, and motorcycling. We’re not sure where he gets the time as he’s permanently in theatre!

Leanne immensely enjoys being a part of our experienced hospital team, discussing and advising on complex cases being hospitalised within our popular surgery.
