Registered Veterinary NurseNaomi
Naomi graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in September 2019 with a First-Class Honours degree in Animal Science (BSc). She joined Briar House just a few months earlier, in July 2019, working as a Veterinary Care Assistant and receptionist, and quickly became a valued part of the team.
In September 2020, Naomi began her training as a Student Veterinary Nurse, navigating her studies through the challenges of the COVID pandemic. Her hard work and dedication paid off when she officially joined the Register of Veterinary Nurses in April 2023.
Naomi has remained a proud and loyal “Briar girl” ever since – though you might occasionally spot her lending a hand at other DNA Vetcare practices too! She treasures the connections she’s built over the years, especially with the regular clients and pets who light up her day. Seeing familiar furry faces happy and healthy is one of her greatest joys.
She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, with a particular passion for surgical nursing and running nurse clinics. Naomi thrives in the ever-changing world of practice life, where no two days are the same. For her, even making a difference to just one patient or client in a day makes it all worthwhile.
Naomi has always had a deep love for animals and has shared her life with many pets. Looking ahead, she hopes to find a bigger home so she, her partner, and his daughter can welcome even more animals into their growing family.
Outside of work, family means everything to Naomi. Whether she’s spending quality time with loved ones or heading out on fun adventures with her own little family, she makes the most of every moment.
